Our webinars bring agencies, trail builders, planners, architects, advocates, and volunteers the latest in state-of-the-art information on all aspects of trails and greenways. They focus on a variety of trail topics, usually applicable to all trail types, with expert presenters. Read more >>

Trail Fund

The Trail Fund is a joint initiative of the Trails Move People Coalition, led by American Trails, to assist the trails community with funding to support maintenance, research, and stewardship training needs. In its inaugural year in 2022 we received nearly 300 applications requesting over $3 million! Read more >>

National Recreation Trails

National Recreation Trails (NRT) are existing land-based and water-based trails that provide close to home recreation opportunities. NRTs promote some of our country's highest-caliber trails with the intention of providing recreation access to rural and urban communities, economic development through tourism, and healthy recreation opportunities.
